- Note the cost to fix the problem – this needs to be tracked for accounting reasons.
- Next meeting report to your team the problem, the resolve and the future-proofing of the problem so it doesn’t happen again.
- If it was an employee who caused the mistake, explain the problem and resolve and get them to sign it in writing, and keep a copy on file.
- If it was an employee who came up with the solution and the resolve, make notes in employee file and tag with points for rewards.
